  • Monotex PTFE was designed to be an ultra-soft, high density surgical suture.
  • Ultra-smooth surface; less porous than other PTFE sutures
  • Excellent security with snug and flattened knots
  • No memory
  • Proprietary construction reduces potential for bacterial migration into the surgical site
  • Soft and comfortable for patients
  • Indications for Use: Monotex® PTFE surgical suture is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including dental, general surgical procedures and repair of the dura mater. Monotex® PTFE sutures are not indicated for use in microsurgery, ophthalmic procedures, or peripheral neural tissues. Monotex® PTFE suture is provided sterile as a single use device.
